Judges Report from Crufts 2008
Judges Report: Labrador Retriever Class: Field Trial Section.
FT (3,1) "To judge these two obviously working Labradors after the previous class seems a touch unkind, however a couple of observations are appropriate. Whereas they cannot compete for beauty, both these dogs had the expressive understanding eye I was searching for. They also had a moulding in the skull coming from development of the facial muscles that shows an intelligence, totally blanked from most of the purely show dogs today. Their movement is more ergonomic too. I personally value these points. 1 Walker ’s Flaxfire Fabriano; 2 Rowe’s Solo Duke."
